The Good, the Bad and the Dangerous is Deren’s first published novel. The romantic thriller shoots you into the lives of two young people who fall madly in love. It wasn’t until I was in my early twenties did I discover that I wanted to write books for a living. Although I had gotten off to a late start, I racked plenty of noteworthy life experiences over the years. Nevertheless, not many actual experiences make their way into my fiction. The events I create in my books are influenced by my past and my characters may have some tendencies of real people, but mostly all of my fiction stems from my own imagination.
